Causes & Symptoms for Codeinum The characteristic symtpom for indication of Codeinum is Itching with warmth. Convulsive twitchings of muscles and limbs, and especially of orbital muscles indicates Codeinum. Excessive mental excitement causes headache. Numbness and prickling felt in the extremities. Headache is worse in morning, restlessness and cough worse at night. Pains in stomach, constipation, sexual excitement. Troublesome cough with copious mucous, and sometimes purulent Mind and Head power of fixing attention or applying mind is less, making the confusion more. Itching and heat of face and head, Dull headache with dry lips and constant desire to moisten them. Eyes, nose Twitching of muscles, especially those of eyelids. Entire loss of smell for several days. Mouth and Throat Dry, teasing, incessant cough; dryness of mouth with constant desire to moisten it. Tickling sensation in throat and strong pulsation of carotids is relieved with Codeinum. Stomach and abdomen Tenderness in stomach with violent pulsations of heart and carotids. Neck and Back Neuralgic pains from occiput to back of neck. Extremities Involuntary twitching of muscles of arms and lower limbs is relieved with Codeinum. Numbness of hands and feet, prickling and numb sensation in various parts of the body. Skin Eczematous eruption with troublesome itching, with warmth sensation. Prickling sensation all over the body is relieved with Codeinum. Generalities Choreic movements, with trembling of whole body.
