Description of SBL Menyanthes Trifoliata :-

Causes & Symptoms for Menyanthes trifoliata The cold stage predominates; coldness felt most acutely in abdomen and legs Complaints are worse in open air or during a walk. Stitches, numbness, tension, and especially cramp-like and weakening pains are very distinctive of Sensations and pains of tension and compression indicates Menyanthes trifoliata. Jerkings and twitchings, worse during rest, associated with neuralgia. Mind and Head Constant anxiety with fear of something wring would happen. Pressing pain in vertex from above downwards in the head, better during hard pressure with the hand. Eyes, ear, nose Stiffness of eyelids, with flickering before eyes. Tensive pains felt at the root of the nose is relieved with Menyanthes trifoliata. Mouth and Throat Great dryness of throat without thirst. Roughness in throat with constant desire to swallow. Stomach and abdomen Frequent empty risings. Continual rumbling in stomach, as if it were empty. For coldness extending up esophagus, with great nausea, following pressure in stomach. Distension and fullness of abdomen, as if overloaded by food is an indication for Menyanthes trifoliata. Stool and Anus Bleeding hemorrhoids is an indication for this remedy. Pinching in abdomen with constipation is relieved with Menyanthes trifoliata. Urinary complaints Scanty emissions with frequent desire to pass urine. Male complaints Both testicles drawn up, right more than left. Neck and Back Rigidity and heaviness in muscles of neck A sensation of soreness. Extremities Cramp-like pains in all limbs extending as far as palm of hand, legs jerk and twitch during rest. Generalities In icy coldness of hands and feet, associated with headache. Jerking pain in outer parts, also pinching pain in outer parts. Majority of sufferings worse during repose, and towards evening better by movement, or by pressing the hand on part affected.
